Voice Command on Treo 700

Does the Treo 700 have the ability to assign voice commands to your contacts?

yes look around in the setting area and you will find it

I got in to the voice command, however it does not appear that i can label a contact with a voice command. Anyone know how to set that up?

You don't have to

Voice Command is speaker independent. It's smarter than the dumb tag dialers.
You can just say "show eric badger" to show the contact called "Eric Badger"
or "Call Eric Badger".

You have to first assign a button. Most people use the button on the side of the device. Use the button control panel applet to associate the side button to "Voice Command". Press and hold the button until you see the microphone icon pop up and an audio cue. Then say "Call <contact name>".

You have to say the first and last name exactly as it is listed in contacts for it to work properly.

Take a look at the Voice Command cheat sheet in this forum.
It's a good idea to print the cheat sheet out and use it as a guide until you've memorized the commands.

You can use a wired stereo headset and you can initiate the Voice Commands and control the Treo from the button on the headset itself while the Treo is in your pocket.
