Default same

Thats the same trouble I have with mine. I would love it to be a simple button push to begin with.

Default Recording

I guess the first question to ask is if your volume is turned up on all four sources? Press the volume up button on the side of the unit = and you can ajust the volume for the ringer and main unit. If your button on the top of the unit is set to ringer off this could alos not let you hear what you recorded. Lastly when you are recording the note make sure the volume is turned up in that screen.

For user apollyon67, you can make a custom button for vocie record. If you go into settings-buttons and select which button on the device you want to make for vocie record is option 1, then select the program you want to use in option 2, which is Notes because that is where you voice record. Also within notes you need to select menu and hit view recording toolbar

Default

hum, mental note to self, turn switch on top of phone to on so I can hear notes!

I thought the switch on top was just for the ringer and such, never crossed my mind to flip it on.

DOH!

thanks
