What I learned about Wireless Sync

I've had problems receiving duplicate emails, and recently I found that my gmail stuff was landing up in my Treo's Outlook folder instead of it's separate gmail folder.

I called Verizon and learned that you're only supposed to set up an email account on the wirelesssyncvzw site if you DO WANT it to go to the Outlook folder. So, I removed the gmail server information from it, and did a few extra setups on the Treo like unchecking "Require SSL connection" and checking "Outgoing mail requires authentication" and "Use Separate settings". I then tap "Outgoing Settings" and fill in the gmail address and pass word on the next screen. I hit okay and complete the set up.

It works fine now.

I also noticed I had comcast twice on the vzw account - which was the reason for the duplicates.
