Default Wireless Syn Client

Sorry for the stupid question but what is the Wireless Sync Client for? I do understand that one can use the client to sync a personal POP account but in the detailed manual it says it can be used to sync with Exchange. Is it just for functionality for those not running Exch2K3? Should I be using it with my Exch2K3 environment? Everything is working hot, straight and normal so I see no need for the client.

Thanx

I think that's for Verizon'e Wireless Sync APP, which is a desktop solution, not a server solution.

for the exchange type email, you can download pc moniter off the wireless sync web site that will watch your outlook for you and push the email to the phone.

Nope that didn't answer the question but thanks anyway. Running Exch2K3 SP2 there is no need for the client, I guess the documentation needs to be worded a little more clearly.

Thanx

So do you have Exchange 2k3 SP2?
If so, then GAB (Global Address Book) will be available with the MSFP that should be released in the next 60 days.
