| 750 Baby!!! Remember all of the big talk about how well I was adapting to the Cingular 8525???? That all went out the door when it croaked today! In Cingular's defense, they're sending me a new one (overnight), but I already have it listed on eBay!! I bought another Treo, baby...YEAH.
Of course, I still have my 650 and 700p I still haven't sold...so I am a geek.

| Still working on the headset and hearing aid thing...so far, NOTHING has worked all that well, and the longer I had the 8525, the more of a problem using the bloody thing for an actual phone was ( :-) go figure...using a PDA phone for an actual PHONE!). I found myself NOT making calls because I either had a battery-dead headset that worked marginally, or because I was not in a speakerphone-friendly environment. Still looking for the perfect bluetooth device with which to pair my cell phone.

| well I am sorry to hear that you have not got that problem solved. I was hoping to hear better news on that front. Sorry the 8525 did not work out hopefully the 750 will! especially since I have one now and am in process of getting it set up. |

| I have had the phone now for a few days, and so far I am so much happier with this than the 8525. The 750 rules.
Other than a lot of ActiveSync issues, it's GREAT!

| what issue are you having with active sync I have not had any so far unlike my two prior pocket pc installations which were a two to three nightmare each time. |

| It hangs up on "processing" my Contacts - just hangs up there. I got a good initial sync then "uninstalled" my 8525. I've restarted my computer, I've done a soft reset on the device......even waited a whole day (I tried this morning before I left for Fort Wayne and tried again tonight when I got home) - NADA.
I was using the Palm cradle for my 700p. I uninstalled everything and started over with the sync cable that came with the new device....NADA.
I just uninstalled ActiveSync and my 750 and reloaded everything....still hanging up in the same place.
I'm going to try this on another PC I have setup - it's running the Office 2007 trial.....maybe I'll have better luck.
Stay tuned........

| keep us posted I will look at te user guide and see about troubleshooting. Might you have migrated some 8525 program or settingthat would be incompatible with the 750? |

| I don't think any migrated settings are the culprit, but I have migrated some apps that won't display properly on the 750. Namely (and this is just the list I've tested so far - and subsequently removed!):
- Handmark Yahtzee
- Handmark Battleship
- Handmark Monopoly
- There are others, but I can't recall right now!
