    Default 750 Unlocked from Palm?

Does anyone know if Palm has any plans of releasing an unlocked version of the 750 any time soon? I'm with Rogers in Canada and they probably won't receive it until sometime during the summer. That means my only option right now is Ebay and I'd like to stay away from that as much as possible.

Other than the fact that Rogers does not like phones on their network not old by them why do you want to stay away from ebay as much as possible? I buy almost all my electronics on ebay and have for yrears and have had almost no problems with my purchases. I am waiting for a new 750 which I bought for $383.00 including shipping with no contract required.

Actually, since posting the last time, I gave in and actually bought one from Ebay. I had never bought anything from there before and was a little skeptical I suppose. Although looks like I might have overpayed - mine cost $549 with leather case. Figured it was a good deal since Cingular is selling it for $649 without a contract. I'm expecting it to receive it some time next week and can't wait. I've only been waiting for 6 months!!

I've had it for a week now and I love it! However, hopefully someone can help me with my problem. I bought it unlocked and the phone works fine. I changed the settings to connect to the Rogers data network and it seems to connect to it but I can't get on any website. Internet Explorer gives me the following error message: 'The page cannot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost. Check the connection and try again later'. If I'm connected on the network, I suppose there's probably some setting I need to change somewhere?
