Default 750v and TomTom 5 or 6?

Does anyone know if TomTom 5 or 6 software is compatible with Vodafone's Treo 750? TomTom don't have it listed under compatible models on their site, but I'm hoping this is just because the 750 is so new; I phoned TomTom support and the operator didn't know either.

Anyone out there actually tried it yet or know more? The unsurity is the only thing preventing me from ditching my 650 for the 750v.

Cheers for the confirmation. I bit the bullet in the end and went for it, and can also confirm to anyone else reading this that TomTom6 works wonderfully on the Treo 750v. The traffic and speed camera updates are well worth subscribing to as well.

For anyone reading this struggling to get their 750v to connect with a bluetooth GPS unit under Windows Mobile, this guide from Microsoft's blog came in very handy for me. Combine it with this article on TomTom's support page from step 18 onwards and you should be good to go.

Yeah should have said - pairing was a bit of a drama!

Yup -- same here. It took me about 4 or 5 attempts before it would pair at all, though I am using a third party bluetooth receiver and not the official TomTom one. Just persevere with it, be patient and it'll pair up in the end!

There are two links in my post above that should help hidden in the words "this guide from Microsoft's blog" and "this article on TomTom's support page" for those that didn't see them; this forum doesn't show links up too well!

You will also need a bluetooth GPS receiver.
