I would like to have the 750 stop making calls for me...like when I have the device in my pocket. I don't want to have to enter a security password each time I answer it or call out. This is the 1st of what could easily be many more postings about issues with this device I am having.![]()

Set the keyguard on, but don't use a password. Then you only have to press 2 buttons when you want to use it.
Ditto...my last 4 Treos have operated the same way.

Palm just doesnt want to make things easy do they?
Hi, all you have to do is lock your keyboard prior to putting it away. just press the little white buttom (bottom left hand side, and the red phone (turn on off switch) that will protect your keyboard so it wont make any calls. Im not very technical so I hope you see what Im talking about. and then to unlock it just press the center silver button and it takes the lock off. should be in the book you got with your phone.
well.....keypad lock is the only way to avoid accidental dialing. It's simple and easy! All other mobiles have this function as well. (Start => Settings => Keyguard => Set as "when power is turn off")
keypad lock : just press "red phone" to turn it off
unlock keypad : press "red phone" and followed by "center 5-way key"
When in doubt read the user guide!
A sturdy case and key guard - options to stop the dialing. I use the Palm branded horizontal leather case. Ben
