    Question Active Sync Problems

    HELP! One again I'm having problems with my Activesync. I'm using the USB cable and have discovered that it works better if my laptop is completely clear of all other programmes and doing nothing else. It's worked happily for the last few weeks, but over the last week it's been having problems. I'll go for 5 - 6 tries and not succeeding then, for no apparent reason, it'll sync OK. At the moment it's going through a "Im unable to sync - try again later" phase. I turn on the Palm, connect the cable to the Palm, then to the laptop. The Palm "tinkles" then the laptop "tinkles". The Active Syn window appears on the desktop and it goes through the motions of sync'ing, sometimes putting lots of ticks in, sometimes only a couple. But always when sync is complete it says it hasn't done it, please try again later - I've been now trying for about a week! The error code is 80070008.

    i did a search on the error code on the web and came up with this posting http://www.1-script.com/forums/synch...e15615--12.htm it seems to indicate that a soft reset should fix this error. Good luck
