ActiveSync Issue
Hello everyone- I did a search but haven't found any specific info on my issue.
The problem is my Treo can't seem to hold a partnership with a computer. I have two computers, my desktop at work, and my laptop. I sync only to these two computers. The problem is, every time I connect to these two computers, ActiveSync makes me delete one of the existing partnerships, acting like it's a new computer.
Anyone know how to stop this? Is it a Treo issue or an issue with ActiveSync? THanks in advance...

the phone are designed to sync with only one computer as a security thing. to keep someone from borrowing ur phone and copying ur stuff etc etc

Why does ActiveSync allow two partnerships then? That's about as retarded a feature as I have ever seen- I need to sync to both my desktop PC and my laptop- which are used for different things.
Can I shut this "feature" off?

the optimum statement is it allows to partnerships on the SAME PC, not 2 different ones

Activesync lets you sync to two computers or two accounts the trick is to go into the settings on either your Treo or activesync itself and set the relationships up correctly. I sync with my laptop as well as my desktop, it takes a little bit of fiddling around to get the relationships right but once setup it works fine.
