activesync problem
Guys,
I need help regarding activesync, can someone help me out. I sync my 750 to company PC all day (basically I do this only to sync outlook calendar en charge my battery).
However i notice that when I do this, the internet connection in my 750 always use my company network. Since my company doesn't allowed us to chat with external and disable this function in the network, I can't use my skype or IM+ anymore in my 750 because of that.
Is there a way to change the connection setting so I will still connected to the internet using 3G from my provider when I sync 750 to the PC?
Thanks!

in my own experience....you need to disconnect your device to the computer then connect to GPRS...you cannot use the GPRS connection if you are also connected with your PC...
Anyone there has any other bright idea? I would like to know also and try it myself...

yeah, that is the problem. It seems I have to bring my charger to the office then, cause the battery run out so fast if i keep my GPRS on all the time for pushmail and chatting.

right...that's the only drag with these new phone... the device is slimmer compared to the Treo 650 but the battery is also smaller and drains quickly...

Michael MiQ are you talking about active sync on microsoft exchange server for your company? As far as charger is concerned buy another one on ebay or get a system on ebay thats usb cable driven that has a wall charger adapter and a car charger adapter with a usb sync and charge cable. The ones that are for the 650,700 and 755 and 755 will do I have seen them for about 15.00 including shipping. They also have one that plugs into your car charger and has a retractible wall prongs that works look here in the ET store
