Default Alarm message not displayed

When I set an alarm to go off at a certain time, I hear the alarm sound and I see the light flash green, but there is no on screen notification. I used to see it but not anymore. Therefore whenever the alarm goes off, I can't turn it off. Is anyone else having a problem like there or at least aware that it has happened? I couldn't find any setting to set the display notification (for alarms, especially) to on.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Believe it or not, I checked and checked them... then even checked again. I couldn't figure it out. I ended up resorting to the hard reset. Luckily, the only one I've had to do so far. Either way, this is still a great phone, and the alarm notification works fine now.

I had the same problem. Mine worked for about a week. I had to take it back and get a new one. Now its fine. I heard that Cingular is having problems with the alarms on the treos. I know I had one. Like I said it worked fine for a week then quit.

I have not had any similar problems. Knock on wood. Hope your new one continues to work as intended.
