    Default Always on?

    Hi there everyone,
    I am a new Palm Treo 750 user and was wondering whether the following is caused by an error of mine:
    -Before, when I pressed that red hang up button, the system would go to sleep (I think) and there'd be nothing on screen. But now, (after changing some settings that I can not undo) it seems to be always 'on', only the screen gets dimmer or brighter when I press red/green buttons. And of course my battery went out in just one day. What did I do wrong? Anyone? Thanks.

    go to settings/power/advanced tab, Check box to turn off device if not used for:

    Where do you find an icon (or other area of functionality) called settings? I have no such 'settings' functionality on my phone.

    "today" screen drop down list "settings" on mine is right under the "programs" icon and the words.
