Need Help Any Realtors using a 750 for thier eKey?

I've had a slight mishap with my Treo 650 and may have to replace it. The Supra people can't say if the Treo 750 will work with the new electronic lockboxes and I was wondering if anyone has attempted to use thier 750 with the eKey software. Well has anyone, and if so how does it work? I would rather buy a 750 with the high speed internet rather than the 680 with low speed internet. Thanks in advance!!

I am not sure about the 750 but in the 680 forum there was a post that the supra key ekaey just became compatible with the 680 on 2-18-07. So it may be a while longer before the 750 is compatible. Have you checked the ekey website?

    Thanks jfa112851,

Yes the 680 will work, but I would not like to buy one next week to find that the 750 will also work the day after I buy it. I was wondering if anyone had done the experiment with thier 750. I did check out the Supra website and actually called thier tech support but the tech would not say that the 750 would or would not work. Just that they are testing sereral devices and that they will announce what will work when after they are done testing it.

I am an attorney not a realtor so I am not familar with the program I would think if it worked with the 700 w or wx it would work with the 750 as they are all WM 5 devices. Do you know if it works with the 700w or wx?

I agree, intuitively, you would think that if it works on the 700 it should work on the 750 since they are both windows based devices. It does work on the 700 series phones, but I dont want to make the investment to try it out. However, I really don't want to spend the extra $150-$200 for the phone and have to go back to carrying a separate keypad for the lock boxes. This functionality is why I purchased this particular phone. Hopefully another Realtor, or somone from Supra, will read this and be able to let me know if anyone has tried to do this.

OK, here goes....my mother is a realtor and I just hooked her up with a 750. We loaded the eKEY app and it worked for her. So, I can say, I have seen it work and it was a pretty simple setup.

I don't know how it's working for her beyond the initial test, but the next time I talk to her, I'll ask. I'm the geek in the family, so I often get asked to set this kind of stuff up.

    Default That's Promising

    Hi GDSERIC,

Thanks for the reply! Now be a good son and call your mother . Seriously, please let us know how it worked out for her. I think Cingular has a 30 day return policy and if so I may try it out myself.
