Mine has held up quite well. No issues at all.

same here. You can also still use the usb cables from a 650 or other 700 series device using the universal connector on the bottom of the device. I use a 650 synch and charge cable at home to charge at home. I have a spare at the office.

I'm glad WM6 added charging through the data cables too. Now I can use a spare data cable plugged into a USB/lighter adapter to charge in the car.
Plus with syncing over BlueTooth, the only time I use a data cable for data is when I tether. And even then, only because it keeps my phone charged while I surf.

Can you enlighten me as to how to sync with bluetooth? I have tried but unsuccessfully.

Can't help you with Vista, but here's how to do it under XP.
Open your bluetooth settings on your PC. Depending on your BT drivers, your setup will vary. You need to add a "serial" service in your BT settings. When you do this, it will assign a COM port to the serial service like COM4 or COM6.
Once that's done, open ActiveSync on your PC. Go into File/Connection Settings. Check "allow connections to one of the following" and select the newly created COM port in the drop down list.
Pair your Treo with your PC over BT. When you get to the screen to "select which services to use from this device," make sure to check ActiveSync.
That's it. When you want to connect, open ActiveSync on the TREO and choose Menu/Connect via Bluetooth. When you are done syncing, make sure to Disconnect from the Treo or it will hold the BT connection open.
Note: every so often following a reboot my dell laptop loses the BT serial port and I have to re-add it. So if it suddenly stops working one day, check your BT setup and make sure the serial service is still set up and active.
