Back Light Won't Go Off

Hello Forum,

I love my Treo with the exception of something that has recently been happening - the screen and keys always stay lit making my battery die much faster than it should. If i do soft reset, if fixes it for a while, but not too soon after the screen and keyboard stay lit?

Any suggestions?

go to settings and then system aand backlight and check your settings it sounds like you have unchecked turn off backlight if device not used or your settings is checked and its set for a long period of time if so shorten the lenth of time mine is set for 30 seconds

Pardon my ignorance...but how do i get to "settings"? thanks - jj

today screen click start click on settings system tab at bottom then tap backlight and you will be able to check per earlier post
