Backlight setting

Greetings,

Just upgraded my Treo 750 to WM6 - excellent! However, (just as in WM5 - so maybe I am not doing something right?) when I try to set the delay for the backlight to go away I set it at 5 minutes (on the Battery Power setting) but if the device sits idle for about 1 minute it goes blank. Also, I set it to wake up with a screen tap and that does not do the trick. I have to wake it up the usual way - hitting the 'power/end' button.

NOTE: I do have the keyguard on - but have tried it both ways to no avail.

To set it as noted above I went to: Start/Settings/System/Backlilght and then under the battery power tab:

* I have checked the "Turn off backlight if device is not used for" and I have 5 minutes selected int he drop down box.

* I have also checked the "Turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped."

And, as I said above the screen goes off at about 1 minute regardless.

Ideas greatly appreciated.

Wow - probably just found my problem. I also had the device set to go off at 1 minutes idle in another place "adjust power settings to conserve power."

Sorry - but maybe some others will lean from my mistake.
