Default Blackjack to Treo 750 back to Blackjack

I had a Samsung Blackjack and it worked great, but I missed a true PDA. I've purchased palms and Dell PDA for years. Purchased the new Treo 750 but returned it yesterday within my 30 days from ATT and using my blackjack again. I love the Treo 750 but the sync problems, the soft resets and losing my contacts returned me to the Samsung Blackjack. I believe if you spend 299.00 for a phone/PDA it should work without problems with sync and spending hours on forums trying to correct the problem. Maybe I will wait for the new Apple Iphone....... :foot:

Well I have had my 750 for three months now I have experienced minor problems with sync usually the usb connector not seated very few soft resets never a problem with contacts or calendar yet. I am on this and other forums to learn more about my device and help others. I have also found that reading the manual as well as getting in this forum and dealing with the details helps ward off problems. I suspect that when the iphone comes out there will be similar problems with it as well. Hopefully not but I am not holding my breath.

Didn't have a problem with the blackjack or palm in terms of the synching. I had a problem with Palm releasing the 750 without HSPDA which is smoking on the blackjack and I had a problem with Cingular making all java apps such as google maps and others ask for access to the net all the time on devices like the Nokia e62 and the blackjack...

I understand about the HSDPA but I dont even have UMTS service where I live It's in Little Rock about 2+ hours away or in Tulsa OK about 2+ hours away so that has not been a big deal for me. I know its a biggger battery drain than the edge service is.

HSDPA is a battery drain, but the Blackjack got better with time. I actually like the size, just not the java glitch...having to press yes on every turn with google maps got old real fast.
Not having access to Cingular video sucks...
