Default Bluetooth headset not picking up when recieving a call

A question to those who use the bluetooth headset devices with this treo:

When I receive a call, the bluetooth does not pick up, but when i call it goes directly to it, any one know what can be the problem.

I had this headset with my treo 680 and it worked fine, the model i have is the scala 500.

When speaking to Rogers tech support, they told me that the TREO 750 does not supported by the SCALA, but when I looked on the net, its available to sell everywhere for the TREO 750 users.....

Any clue, maybe the device is malfunction, at least I will know and return it, and get a new one....

Thanks

I'd like to know the same thing. I'm using a Plantronics bluetooth unit and I always have to touch the answer button on the headset to answer an incoming call. I have yet to find "Auto Answer" anywhere in the manual. I'd like to also have this function working when it is on a tethered headset. But no luck yet.

What I found in the past few days, is when you call, the bluetooth is on all the time, when someone else is calling, automatically it goes to the phone mode, however, you can click MENU and select CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH and boom! it works perfectly then. I Hope someone at PALM is reading this and maybe they can fix it in the next upgrade.

Also, yes, you can click on the BLUETOOTH itself to answer the call as you just mentioned.

wait and see what is going to happend......

Hey Guys thanks for the posts, really great and informative. You know what? I had it with Rogers from Canada, I know more than their tech support, and every time i called to know what is the prob, they told me, no, its my BT, well guess what, its not, its WM6, which came with the phone....I had another issue with Hiding SIM card, the guy from ROGERS put me on hold, he said, I know how to fix it, there is a way, let me get back to you, and then the phone got disconnected, after awhile I found out that all the 750s comes with that problem, so THERE IS NO FIX TO THAT UNLESS YOU HACK IT......well....No more calls to their amateur department, VIVA LE FORUMS.....

Thanks again....

Hmm... That's strange.

I'm running WM6 on mine and have no such issue with the BT headset. No matter how I press answer (headset or on phone) it always routes to my headset.

I've got an Aliph Jawbone. Don't know why that particular set would be immune if it's a WM feature. Unless it's the ROM.

I am running the unbranded ROM on a Cingular device.

Go figure.
