Bought a Palm 750, What do I do next?:)

Hello Helpful Treo Fans,

I just signed up yesterday and have been checking out the forums for lots of good information. (And their is lots of that cudos)

I have recently purchased a Palm Treo 750 for my work because they needed the WM, come to find out later that I needed the WM 6.1 but I only have WM 6 on it. I have called Palm and searched the web for ways to get this upgraded to WM 6.1. Then I happened on this forum and was in awe by the knowledge that is available here. Problem is I don't know how to start the process, I am reading things about try this ROM but you have to do this and that. Well I am here pleading complete ignorance and asking for help from you lovely folks here to help me get through this process. I am on a wireless company called FIDO in canada and they run on GSM-sim card but you guys already know that I am sure. If I could get some help and a guiding hand through this it would be great I have no more money to dump into another phone because I am also a student and caregiver.
