i have a Palm 750W. The only way I could get my contacts loaded was to beam from my 680. Im usingWM6 & Activesync 4.5. I'm unable to sync my contacts to my outlook. I have no problem sync'g pics to & from (it just does it automatically) or music / video.

I have tried highlighting the Contacts Icon on my phone via the windows button / menu & nothing happens. So, i highlight contacts & manually start the active sync on my laptop. Using XP (Pro i think).

Outa curiosity i created a contact on outlook and it wont sync to my 750 either. HOWEVER, my calendar is sync'g effortlessly.

    Please help

    Thanks

I would say that you need to uninstall the active sync and reinstall and then set up a new partnership and see what happens or delete the partnership and reestablish a partnership. Something has gotten corrupted or is lotherwise kaka. What may have happened if you just got the 750 and did this is that you may not have followed nthe directions in the user guide or siwtching from palm os to wm u may have copied palm os o0nto your wm and that may be causing unitended results with your contacts.

I have uninstalled & reinstalled. The contacts keyed into outlook will not load into the WM and the contacts I beamed from my palm 680 to my palm 750 wont sync into outlook. i have also created a contact fron scratch in the WM and it wont sync to outlook either.

It also over wrote my calender appts on my WM with the old Outlook schedule for yesterday.

    this is challenging.

    Thanks for your help

when you stitched from the 680 to the 750 did you follow the instreuctions for migrating from palm os to wm os if you did not thats probably the source of your issues. You need to uninstall wm and follow the directions for migrating from palm os to windows mobile on the user guide. See if that does not solve your issues.

So i figured out after I reloaded the Getting Started CD onto my lap top that for some reason the sunc contacts in the Active Sync was not ticked unlike the others. Alas, Contacts are sync'd. Sweet. Thanks all for your help

Sorry folks, I am new to this.
The question I have is if you have the Outlook and you want to convert the contacts from 650 to 750, which Palm software should be on your computer?
The 650 palm software or the 750 palm software ?
Forgive me, like I said, I and new to this.
    Thanks.:gasp:

There should be an application on your CD to convert from Palm to WM.

Alternatively, you can direct your Palm Hotsync to synchronize with Outlook. Then when you connect your Windows Mobile device, it will pull everything from Outlook the first time you sync.
