Default cant update to wm6 on treo 750

hi all

I have been trying to update the rom on my treo 750 unsuccessfully. I am also a little unsure which keys to use, so far I have tried:

the key below the 'A' and reset push pin
the magnifing glass and reset push pin
the key on the side under the volume and reset push pin

All that seems to happen is that the device just resets, if I use the 3rd option the device just sits in a start up screen with lots of colours on the screen and USB or SERIAL written at the bottom.

any ideas where im going wrong?

I was wondering the same thing but don't expect an answer. Ive asked similar questions and they go unanswered, this forum is dead and useless for anything more complex then just simple usage questions.

Option 3 is the correct key sequence, but the response you are getting is wrong. One thing: is the .nbh file on the mini-sd card? It has to be on the card, and in the root directory. The card must be formatted as fat32....

maybe when the thing is officially released we will get better instructions on how to accomplish the thing but given the instructions palm and microsoft especially ms put out for all the dst updates for wm and outlook and windows xp I am not holding my breath.

Card has to be formated to fat32 and file renamed to CHEEIMG.nbh. "Magic key" is below volume buttons.

Default The "real" thing

I dont think Palm has released WM6 yet. They tell me to keep checking the Palm.com site for it.

CHEEIMG.nbh - there are two versions of unofficial WM6 - AT&T and Voda :D

I hadn't any problems with Voda - updated in first try :D
