    Default Cingular 750 Info

Hey all, I am a long time lurker here, but just signed up to be a poster. I was in my local Cingular store tonite here in Atlanta, GA and talking to my local rep. He called me to tell me that they got the "dummy" version of the 750 in today. I went by and actually saw it, and held it in my hand. He said they are still not totally sure about the exact release date, but with the dummy version coming in it shouldn't be long. Just wanted to tell everyone...Thanks!

Well I hope this does actually mean that the 750 is going to be released soon. I hope before Christmas or atleast before the end of the year. Like another Poster has said probably not until the 8th of Jauary 2007....................which is only 3 1/2 weeks away.

    Default Actually...

It wasn't in ATL proper....It was out in Carrollton. The store in the strip mall on highway 27 by the publix grocery store. I was out that way working and stopped in after getting a call from a rep friend of mine.

Nothing as of today, 12-27-06. The guy at the store said they too are hearing January 9th, 2007 as well now. This is the first concrete date they have given me, but that being said I am not holding my breath!

    Default Unlocked?

Does anyone have any information about whether or not the 750 will be available unlocked directly from Palm. Unfortunately, I was told that I'd have to wait until summer 2007 until Rogers gets their hands on it up here in Canada.

I haven't heard anything. I will say this though, it may be summer of 07 before anyone sees it on Cingular at the rate we are going...HAHA!

Just to add to the rumor mill, Cingular has had a tradition of releasing phones on their web site on Sundays! Don't ask me why as I haven't a clue, but they have in the past introduced several new models this way . .

    It shouldn't be much longer . . .
