Default Clock and Alarms screen popping up during calls!

I can't quite figure this one out. The clock and alarms screen keeps popping up during almost all calls (I'd say 8 out of 10 calls or so). This occurs regardless of whether the phone is to my ear, on speakerphone, or held away from my ear, so it doesn't have anything to do with hitting a button or touching the screen accidentally.
The only things that I can think of are that the "make call" green button was programmed to start the clock and alarm screen, but that idea was proven to be false.
This just started happening a couple of weeks ago (I've had the phone for 3 months or so.)
Any help would be appreciated!!!

welcome to ET have you installed any third party programs? Have you disabled the touchscreen during calls? have you programmed the bottom button the the left side (the ptt button) to activate the clocks and alarms screen. I had thate same issue for a while and I think i was pushing the ptt button while talking. Have you updated to wm6 I think when I did that the issue went away.

Default Same problem

I have the same problem. However, WM6 (leaked) didn't solve this problem. And yes, IT IS ANNOYING!!

I just installed the unbranded WM6 ROM (for a locked ATT 750) and have disabled the touchscreen function during calls, and so far I haven't noticed this problem yet.

If anyone has talked to tech support or has come up with a fix/reason why this happens I would like to hear what they had to say.

Thanks.

once its done you will a message at the botton that says touchscreen disabled while you are on a call. It does not stop the clock and alarms from coming on when you push on the ptt button on the left side of the device. I am pretty sure thats whats happening. I dont know if you can disable the ptt button or make it inactive during a call. I suspect not.

I have the same problem but I have found that my ear touches the screen on top where the clock is and it opens the settings menu. My wife hates my phone because she is used to moving the phone around when talking (don't ask me why) and when she does that her ear opens up all kinds of programs from the touch screen and even dials my quick numbers.

I would like the phone to automaticall open the dial pad and phone options when I make a call like the 650. Is there a way to get it to do that.
