CRACKED screen - Treo Forums

Tech support (Palm and ATT) both tell me a cracked screen isn't covered under warranty (no matter how it got cracked). Seems like Bull to me. They want $199.00 to fix it.

That is definately BULL****.
Anybody know of a better way ???
Anybody have an otherwise junk 750 that I can take the screen out of ?? Please help. The phone still works, but the touich screen is toast............

OK, I found a screen replacement on eBay. However it is for the 700WX. Does anybody know if they are the same or where I can verify the compatability??

Lets try this again from a different angle. Can anybody tell me what "other" screens are compatible with the Treo 750 (ATT/Cingular).
I'm guessing that the 650, 680, 700P, 700W, 700WX and 755 all will work. Can anybody verify this or give me direction where I can verify for myself ???

I have both a 650 and a 750; for what it is worth... I measured the visable screen on both and they are identical in size.
