Delayed response to phone answering

I have a Treo 750 for trial and find that when an incoming call is answered there is a delay of upto 5 secs or so before the caller can hear me.

Any suggestions?

Are you using Blurtooth, this causes a delay. You may also may want to try to turn off the voice command,

Do you mean is the Bluetooth active or do you mean actually for connection? My delay problem is while using the phone without a Bluetooth device but it may be with it active.

I have turned off the voice command since posting on the forum ... will see how it alters.

If your Bluetooth is turned on and you are not using the headset the phone may look for a devise possibly delaying your answering the call?
