   |  Downloading issues - WM6 I am trying to download an updater for a friend with his computer. But everytime i click on the .exe file, it will just open a notepad. Called palm and they said that they can download it and will run perfectly.... Any idea?

| when I downloaded it it was a zip file and you have to use winzip you cant use winrar or whatever and it goes into a file thats in a sub folder of results and it will install from there. Unless you are using the sd card method you cant have an expansion card in the slot. If you are using the sd card method its got to be formated for fat 32 and its got to be blank nothing lese on the card. |

| With my computer I was able to download and install it using winrar. It works perfectly for me. But with my friends computer, these is what we did... 1. Open a folder. Click Tools -> Folder options 2. Click on File Types tab. Under Registered file types, scroll down and highlight HTA extention. Under Details, click on Advance -> Edit 3. Under Application used to perform action, change notepad.exe to mshta.exe and click on OK -> OK again Make sure to click on OK to apply the changes..
