duplication of contacts

Hi. I had a 650 and found that many of my contacts were being duplicated when if sync'd. I have changed to a 750 and the same thing is happening. Some contacts can be duplicated up to 8 times - I must be doing something wrong with my sync... The contacts are duplicated on my Sim and on my phone. I deleted all the duplicates off my Sim but they are all back again. My memory is now full due to about 350 contacts. Has anyone any idea what I am doing wrong? Would appreciate any help

Sheila, that's a bit confusing.

350 contacts is nowhere near enough to fill your memory, unless you are talking about SIM memory.

There is nothing in the sync process that will write to the SIM. Syncing is between Outlook contacts on the device and the PC and should not affect SIM contacts at all.

Any outlook contacts that were duplicated would also be duplicated on the PC following the sync.

So for clarification, where are the contacts being duplicated (sim/outlook)?

I have ths same duplication problem and the outlook is copied from the pc to the treo and from the treo to the pc etc. What am I doing wrong?
