    Question Games install

Cannot find how to install to a treo 750v, most instruction suggest either double clicking prc file [this is not recognised by my pc] or using something called 'quick install' ? which I don't seem to have.?

PRC files are form Palm OS powered devices. For WM you need .cab installers.

files are either downkloaded using the 750 or other wm devices off the internet or downloaded to the desktop and unzipped and installed via active sync connection. I have found that its good to be at the programs screen as when you finish the install via active sync it tells you to check the device to see what if anything else needs to be done usually install to device or expansion card if you dont select one or the other it wont finish the install. what applications with .cab extensions have you tried to install. Files with a.cab extension are niormally downloaded directly from the internet and are installed using Internet Explorer mobile. ZOther programs are downloaded to the computer and install via the sync processsee pages 190 and 191 in the user guide and follow them.

Finally managed to install program , the instructions suggested were less than useless, this is the final instruction for installing '
    Connect your smartphone to your
computer to synchronize and install the
    application(s) on your smartphone.'
How lame is that, it does not tell you where to find the download or how to navigate to it in order to install.Manual needs a re-write in plain English.

most applications from the computer I have installed by downloading to desktop and then open application by double clicking and the installation program runs and then tells you to check the mobile device to see wehat further action should be or needs to occur usually its a question to install to the device or an expansion card if you have one. I have never (knock on wood) had a real problem. Its easier to have the device at the progarms screen when doing the install to check the further action status easier.
