I have been reading about the need for a Java install of somekind and often the writer mentions that Google Maps in one reason they would like Java.
I have installed Google Maps on my 750 and seems to work fine? Do I have Java already? (sorry I am newbie)
I have a Treo 750 WM 5.0 which I just started using last week. I loaded Google Maps 2 days ago and it works fine. It was a great app on my old Treo 650.
I've loaded googlemaps on the Treo, and have purchased a Freedom Mini GPS receiver to go with it.
But I CAN'T work out how to do the settings to make the thing work! No idea what COM ports, etc should be selected, etc. Anybody have better luck? Anyone who can talk me through the proper set-up? Most grateful if somebody could.
