Instructions
I've made an edit to the setup wizard instructions, which happens to only be one additional line and the most important part of running the setup wizard!
Double Click the INDEX.HTA file in the setup wizards root folder (the folder that gets extracted from the .zip file.
Sorry about that little detail!

I tried four times before I got a clean download. It was strange. A different file would come to me corrupted (as I extracted the files) before I got a clean download.
I am gonna try to install the ROM tomorrow before the Turkey Feast begins!

Okay, that's not as bad, because that just means the connection is getting f-ed, but the file is okay. I'll be bringing my laptop home for the long weekend which is hosting the file. You all may have better luck with both the download integrity and speed, so for all of you trying to download that run into a bad link just try again a little later. You can expect it to be down at any point between 3pm and 5pm EST, after that it'll be up till Monday when I bring it back to the office.

Updates
Sorry I've been knocked out for the weekend, I'll send a link to all requests later tomorrow when I'm at a desk.
We've had another successful install using the modded setup wizard, in turn updating all version numbers to their expected values (unlike the bootloader update which seems to forget to update the SW version number while successfully updating the FW version). I’ll post more specifics about better ensuring a smooth update when using the wizard.
On a side note, I’ve been using this update (the last install being the setup wizard method) for about a week now, and it seems dam spiffy! Smooth and responsive even after loading up my background apps. I really don’t think I’ll make a permanent move to the AT&T update. Why have all that crap-ware locked into your memory? I think I might just try it out to see if there are any improvements in wireless strength, battery life, overall speed or any other worthwhile enhancements. I can’t imagine it’ll have anymore more on memory, with parts being eaten up by pre-installed apps.
Till tomorrow!
For all that already have the link, it’ll be down from tomorrow around 7am EST till as late as 3pm EST (but probably a little closer to 1pm EST).
Peace out, cub scouts!

The setup wizard works
Success using the setup wizard upgrade method... Had to manually assign a driver to the device in the PC's hardware manager after putting the Treo into bootloader mode (pushing reset pin while holding side button), but after that it was smooth sailing.
The software version number updated correctly (to treo750-2.23-att) and the firmware shows 1.54.00.00. This is from using only the wizard (didn't use the miniSD method first).
I can't believe how much more responsive wm6 is than the wm5 that was pre-loaded when I bought this thing. The snappy scrolling in IE is a _very_ welcome change.
And the HSDPA is fantastic! It looks like the device stays in 3G mode (uses less power?) until it actually has to do a data transfer and then switches to "H" for the heavy lifting.
This is like having a new Treo. Thanks a lot, Trueluck3!

I have had no luck with the setup wizard method and it's driving me nuts. Can you post specific instructions? I unrared, synced, and clicked on index.htm file but I run into a wall everytime I try to update it.
