Help with my Treo 750 - can't make calls

Hi friends
My Treo - bought off ebay, a Cingular model unlocked
It worked well with Vodafone in Australia, Starhub in Singapore, but with the 3G SIM card in Singapore, it can recieve calls, send messages but just won't call out (it hangs up immediately!)

Is there a lock or something?? Or a software update I can use?

I know the SIM card works in other phones

It worked with Starhub in Singapore but not with another service provider in Singapore? It send messages okay, does it receive messages, are you sure your messages are being received? That sounds pretty wierd. Can you provide more specifics. Have you tried another SIM in your phone?

I checked, it can recieve everything with Starhub, but seems 'allergic' to Singtel

I suspect Cingular did something to the phone
I bought a vodafone version and it works, so I now I have two of these suckers

well did you unlock it to all gsm services. If not there's your problem.

When I bought it, the vendor said it was, but..... maybe he lies (ebay )

o you have a starhub sim card if not try that it may clear up your problem.
