Hi I'm travelling overseas and dont want my phone to automatically download my emails so I dont incur crazy charges. I dont want to have to turn my phone completely off though because I want to be able to text message and use the phone for voice calls occasionally.

I've tried going into the email settings and under delivery preferences I unchecked the box that says "connect and check for messages every ___ minutes"...

But it still checks my hotmail account and downloads them to the phone and still notifies me in the middle of the night that I've got a new email.

Please help! Thanks for any advice!
