IE for 750 question

I have question and I’m not sure if this is the right place for it, but here goes; I have a 750 (cingular) and very recently I had to do a hard reset. Previous to the hard reset I was able to access web forums (login), such as this one with little trouble using Internet Explorer. Now, after the reset, I can access no forum anywhere. Every time I try to login it just loops back to guest status. If I use a different name or password I will then get the unauthorized user error, but never able to actually login. Is there a setting that I am missing, besides enabling cookies?

It sounds like you need to do the equivalent on a desktop or laptop of clearing your browser cache the device may be using a cookie that is corrupted and not allowing access. I dont know for sure but you could try that.

I thought that too, but I hadn't used the browser since the reset, so there shouldn't have been any files, history or cookies to clear. I tried it anyway and still no joy. It is acting as if it isn't receiving the cookie in the first place and I do have cookies enabled.

Not that hanging out in a forum is all that important mind you

well as the guy who used to work on my computers would tell me when there was aproblem he could not seem to figure out easily "that's wierd"
