Invalid Serial Number - WM6 750 Official

I was trying to download the official WM6 for ATT. I have a Cingular 750. I entered my serial number and I got an invalid serial number.

Anyone hosting the official zip file?

Same serial number problem for me and lots of others on the XDA developers site.:angry: Seems there are some successes though and they are saying that version 2.25 seems faster than the 2.23..........:smile:

Big Problem. I am running an ATT (cing branded) 750 with WM6 unbranded 2.23 software. I got the official wm6 file. I tried to install is but, it says I have the latest version and I don't need to update. I really want to try to install the official.

Anyone have a work around for this?

For me even worse, my serial number was valid, but I had a timeout just before the end of the download. So now I have NO zip file and my serial number is blocked. Anyone prepared to share their offical zip file as requested above?

Long time reader, first time poster.
Can’t contain my excitement over the new release of WM6. I did not want to mess up the my Treo, so never did the ROM upgrade. When comparing to WM5, WM 6 is definitely faster!
Favorite Features Thus far:
1. Sync cable also charges…NO more need for the stand-alone Palm USB Charging cable or third party cables
2. Calendar has extra bar on op indicating scheduled activities
3. Speakerphone/Mute Button displayed on calling menu
4. Google Map now detects “my location” (not sure if this is a Google map enhancement or WM6).

Gripe (if you can even call that)
1. Unnecessary software: (Get TeleNav/Get MobiTV) and I can’t seem to find any use but to get rid of them.

Interesting the "My Location" feature of Google maps stopped working on my device once I installed WM6, but worked like a champ under WM5...

mtiberio posted a link which bypassed the serial number check, so I now have my file. I wonder how long that link will stay up :wink:

When I finally got it to work without putting in the serial number (it kept kicking me off the web) when it came to unzip it said the file was password protected and would not unzip without a password so I put in my "invalid" serial number and it unzipped. Install says 25 minutes took about half that. Changed my device name from WM_** to WM_***. No big deal as long as it does the synch which it did I reinstalled my pocketbible sprite backup and franklin covey Plan plus and Im back in business. Have about 4 mg more free space than with the unofficial update.
