Keyguard Doesn't Work

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have Keyguard enabled, but it only works properly when I am in a call.

If I try to manually activate it by pressing OPTION + END, the white banner comes up across the bottom of the screen saying: "Keyguard X:XX AM - Press Center button to unlock.", but then goes away after about 1 second and the phone is not locked.

I need a keyguard to keep me from making sober drunk calls when the phone is in my pocket, so I installed Slide 2 Unlock (gasp!). I'd be much happier if the good old fashioned keyguard worked like it was supposed to.

If there isn't a solution, is there a way to wipe my Treo 750 and reset it to a fresh install of the OS? I think the keyguard worked when I first got the phone, but I wouldn't swear to it. I have thought that re-installing the software might fix it.

Well, I finally got wise and downloaded the manual, and read how to do a hard reset.

That fixed it. My keyguard is working fine now.

When all else fails, RTFM.
