This is a discussion on Mapping software within the Treo Smartphones forums; I am looking for a non GPS mapping software programme for my Treo 750 . Can anyone recommend one?...

    How about Google maps:

    http://www.google.com/mobile/default/maps/index.html

It even has pseudo GPS being the 750 doesnt have real GPS. It will find your location using cell towers. Its neat but not super accurate.

    Hey all,

Does Google Maps support the MY LOCATION feature on the Palm OS yet? I have heard conflicting answers...

    Thanks,

    Matt!

Yes, though accuracy is apx 1,000 feet.

I use TeleNav with a Freedom Keychain GPS 2000 (http://www.jr.com/freedom-input/pe/FKB_KEYCHAINGPS).

My only complaint is that (obviously) the GPS is useless when you are on a call.

The Freedom Keychain GPS also works with Google Maps.
