Mini Opera on Treo 750 - Treo Forums

I have seen instructions on the net how to sync the JVM files and load mini opera and thought I followed pretty well. But when I sysnc it does not show those JVM files on my list to sync fom my PC and the unzipped files are on the PC. Has any one had success with getting mini opera to work amd loading these files on to the TREO 750. I am knew to all the smartphone deal and I must be doing something incorrectly.I guess I need step by step instructions.

I run Opera as my default web browser. All i did was download the cab file from the opera web site and installed as usual. You dont even need to download anything else.
I download the cab file file to my desktop and then tranfered it the treo from there.

Where did the cab file show up in your treo file folders. Also are you running java JVM files on yours already.If so did you download them from the palm site.

I think Draig is installing Opera Mobile and not Mini Opera, only *.cab file appears in Opera Mobile. As I know, you have to install JVM 1st b4 downlod Mini Opera to run.

Does anybody help in this issue? I am also looking for appropiate JVM for Mini Opera. If so, please tell step by step. Thanks !

(I already have Opera Mobile installed, but wanna have Mini Opera as well)

aaalone is right i am installing Opera Mobile. As it runs great on my phone I am not even sure why you want to have both.
Opera mini is for smartphones wheras Opera Mobile is for Windows Mobile devices surely they do the same thing?
Why do you need Java?...

Did you purchase opera mobile or use the beta . Itried the beta and my screen locked up.

I am just using the beta version, its installed in the phones memory and not on the expansion card.
I have had no problems with it what so ever..

I got it now. It is working (Opera Mobile). I downloaded the wrong one for screens without a touch screen. Draig. Thanks for all you help.
