Money, no obstacle
ok....that gets everyone's attention.
Here's the scoop....
I'm a long palm os user; I think my first was the III.
Currently have a 650 and in need of an upgrade; I'm really tired of the resets. But to what? the 680 or the 750 or ?
For those of you who have transitioned from palm os to win, what say you?
Would you do it again? I think this is one of my biggest concerns
When I say, money-no obstacle....is if it's less than $400.
I'm a cingular guy....so the 755 is not available to me just yet.
Thank you all in advance for any/all input.

Well I am on cingular and I thought and looked for quire a while. I started with a IIIC and then switched to a Casio e-200 and then to an HP Journada 567. I liked the ease of use and working right out of the box of the 3C the active sync in the E200 and JourNADA 568 ugh a nightmare hence the caps on nada. many headaches andfday I mean days whwhole days on phone with Casio Microsoft and HP to get active sync installed and working and then the same when upgrades came along. I switched a a treo 600 liked the form factor hated the battery pos. Switched to the 650 loved the format radio and battery better still intrigued with the mindows mobile 5 appeared to be better but verizon service not available and sprint ugh in this area and the external antenna broke one on the 650 lucky I didnt break more. Took the plunge bought a 750 on ebay brand new very pleasantly surprized. Active sync installed and fired up right away no problems DST ptach upgraded to 4.5 no problems again. I would recommend the device. Sure its got quirks and it takes some getting used to but its a good solid device. The price was right to 383.00 including shipping. Then gotr a snadisk 2 gb mini sd card less than 25 with shipping.
All that said its really a matter of personal preference. Go to a cingular store and try out the 750 and go to a sprint store and try out the 755. If you ant to stick with palm wait for the 755 from ATT. If not jump on the 750. They are supposed to be getting a WM6 update and HSPDA update as well.

Thanks.....further clarity:

I recently picked up a 750 from Cingular and love it. I've messes with 600's & 650's. There fun BUT, being a closet geek. The 750 does it for me. Stay away from the 680. I have a friend that works at cingular and she tells me their nothing but trouble. So much so Cingular is dropping them. As for wm6 = Windows Mobile 6. Currently 750's are running WM5. Has fo "HSPDA" ???

HSDPA is a higher speed 3G which will be up to 3x faster than UTMS 3G thats currently whats one the 750 and blackjack on the ATT network most places. If you are in a 3G area you have a white square in the top bar that says U otherwise it says G for edGe which is 2.5 G (for generation)
