My Treo 750 calling and internet Glitches

HI all,

I just purchased a treo 750 off ebay (cingular). I am on the Rogers network and had issues setting up. Everything was set-up properly and was getting No connection I had to do a hard reset loosing all the little info I had in the phone. Re did the configs the same all worked fine. Second issue that arissed, is for the 3rd time no when I call or get a call for some reason no sound on my phone or at the other end however I am connected. I have tested mysefl and the call goes through but no sound on either side. I have to do a hard reset to clear this issue, again loosing all my personalized info.
I am running on WM5. Any ideas, hardware or software issue?

The problem is that you're running WM5.

Seriously though, there is a known sound bug in WM5. Palm has released a patch to correct it.

Better yet is to go to WM6.

and welcome to ET si1992. fastlerner is correct the way to go is wm6 but if you dont want to do that (the unbranded rom is best) then be sure to get the audio update for wm5 or you will continue to suffer the isuues which are affecting your device.
