Default Need help! Can't see files that have been transfered to my phone

I have had my 750 for a month now and it has worked great for me. However, when I Transfer music or video clips (.mp3, .mpg, etc) to my phone, I don't see them. I click on explore through Active Sync and see the files I transfered on my computer screen and I see that the available memory goes down, so I know they are on there, I just can see them on my phone. I even tried a search on the phone to look for the file names and says no items found.

I would really like to be able to pass the time on filghts by listening to music and/or watching videos clips, but so far no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

check you active sync settings, desktop file formats are mostly unsupported on windows mobile but active sync takes care of it be converting files, sometimes though things get lost in the so called translation. have you tried reseting the phone and seeing if it is still using the same memory.

i would recommend getting a large memory card and a memory card reader, copy your stuff onto the memory using the desktop. after you have it all on there then insert the card into your phone. one the memory card has been inserted open media player on the phone and open the library. from there you should be able to tell it to search the phone for media files and it will look through the memory card.

I do have a 2 gig card and have tried loading info on the card and the inserting the card into my phone and that does not work either. I know some file types are not supported, however, all of my other WM5 phones I have used in the past would still show the file even though it was not supported.

The best way to describe what is happening is to say it acts like a regular pc that has a particular file set to "hidden" and have the settings set to "do not show hidden files." You know the files are there because you can see them taking up disk space, you just can see them on the screen.

Thanks

i would suggest a factory wipe or hard reset of the device.. i did run into little finicky things here and there using firmware not meant for my phone and that includes the leaked version.. people are figuring out how to cook up there own roms now and unless u download it off of palms web site it is hard ot tell if it is legit, and really you have no way of knowing if someone slid a virus in it... i would suggest going back to windows mobile 5 and wait a few weeks for the actuall no shit AT&T update.. i decided this tonight and put it back.

Start...Settings...System...Memory....Running Programs....Stop All......OK back to "today" screen. Start... Media Player....(you should be in the "library" screen of Media Player)........Menu Key.....Scroll down to "library" and select it.....Choose "Storage Card"..... Then My Music.....All Music...and play a song......
If that doesn't work, I'm fresh out of ideas.....................

Thanks to all for the help. After trying everyone's advice, I am in business. It seemed to come around after downloading and running the reset.
