New to Palm Treo 750

Hello Everyone! I am planning to upgrade my service to a Palm Treo through Cingular/AT&T. Two Questions. I haqve a Sony Ericsson phone. Do I need to purchase a new sim card or can I use the one I have ?(PLanning to buy from the website) Question 2 - What do you think of a reconditioned 750? Price is only 99.00 as compared with the 199.00 for new. Any thoughts out there?

I think you should walk in to any Att store once you get your new Treo and request a "new" sim card. They may give you a complimentary sim card to replace your old one. And that's because your old sim may not work with your new phone as it should. If you're charged, it's not more than $20 maybe and it's worth it anyways, though I think they'll be more inclined to charge you if you lost your old one. The people that work there should know.

I personally would not buy a refurbished/reconditioned phone. I depend too much on my device, and would feel unsatisfied if something were to go wrong with the phone. If the phone had a minor or major problem, how would you know if you caused it, or, if it was the previous users doing?

I just baught a refurbished one. If you order online, you get another $20 off. Paying $79 for a Palm 750 is a great deal, you cant get a better phone for that price. I am still learning a lot about my phone.

I just checked the online price which to me was still $99.00. Can you tell me how to were able to get an additional $20.00 off the price. Thanks for the tip and good luck with your new phone.

just try purchasing online and then look at thefinal price at checkout, discount of $20 will be applied.
