new user, please help

Hi, I'm a new member of this forum as well as a new user for smartphones. I really hope you can help me with a couple of questions. I just bought my treo 750 a couple of days ago

I've tried to synch my calendar, contacts, tasks and notes but I can't. I try to select those boxes in my mobile device center but the boxes don't mark/select, why is that?

I have windows vista, by the way

also another very important question for me, my friends have told me that when they call me, the phone rings 2-3 times and then automatically go to the Voicemail, and that is not good, how can I change this? maybe to allow the phone ringing for 10 times or so?

I used to have a tungsten TX but they stole it so now I'm trying to adapt to this pocket pc (instead of palm OS) format.

I would say, delete the partnership first. This way, it will sync properly to your device. Just to make sure also, you need to delete the partnership on the device.

Secondly, for the voicemail issue, you need to configure your call forwarding settings....

Start button -> Settings -> phone icon -> Call forwarding

You may change the Forward phone calls only if "no answer" after 30 seconds or you may also uncheck the box....Hope this helps...

If anybody has a better idea, pls. post it here so that I will also know...

I came up with another question...

is there anyway I can use an application in Palm Os platform in my pocket PC, let's suppose there isn't a version for pocket PC for one specific program, is there a program I can get in order to do it, like a converter, or some way??

hmmm...i think I was able to use one before but I kinda removed it from the device... just try to google it

ok, I'm doing fine now, the problem was the configuration with Outlook. Regarding the palm OS applications, I did find some of them on pocket pc platform, so, it's ok. thanks snake eye.
