First off, did you check under Start>Settings>Sound & Notifications?

Go to the "notifications" tab and select "reminders" in the drop down list. Make sure that "play sound" and "display message on screen" are checked.

Changing your data plan should not affect your reminders. That is, unless you were syncing with an exchange server via the data connection. In that case, you need to change your activesync settings to sync with your local Outlook instead of the Exchange server so that you can keep your calendar properly synced.

Sound like you have some 3rd party apps loaded? If so, that could definitely cause issues.

Also, if you're running WM5, I'd update to 6. Best thing that ever happened to my Treo.

If you still on wm5 there was an audio update that you should install which will correct audio issues. It is built into the wm6 update. The update is not hard to install and you can find an update that operates just like having a cd (with the install wizard)

Glad the hard reset fixed it. I was going to suggest that next.

To me, WM6 is loads better. Less sluggish, better power management and it fully supports 3G.

If you use data (web browsing or email) then HSDPA on 3G is a HUGE speed improvement over GPRS and EDGE. Plus the "Connection Sharing" app makes it a breeze to tether a laptop and use your phone's internet connection on the go.

NOTE: If you use AT&T, they charge extra for a "tether" data plan. You can get around that by loading the UNbranded version posted in this forum instead of the official ATT update. The unbranded ROM also does not have all the ATT bloatware.
