notes function

Hi,
I have created notes on my pda but and transferred them to my laptop. when I try to open it MS word starts but nothing comes up. What program is this note supposed to be opened in..........Outlook? How do I open them on my laptop after creating them on my pda or vice versa?

I use Plan Plus for Outlook by Franklin Covey. Its an outlook program I can do notes and they will sync to the device but you have to go in to setup in active sync to accomplish that. I think that outlooks notes program can do that as well but it has to be checked or enabled to do that.

i can sync notes from my pda to my laptop but when I try to open the file word tries to open it but it doesn't come up,

its probably not a word file format. Have you tried notepad or wordpad if you are using windows as opposed to mac os?
