Painfully Slow

Hi All-
I've tried searching but come up empty. Probably n ot using the correct terms. Anyway... I have a Treo 750 with the AT&T WM6 on it. I had this unit 6 months ago as WM5, then changed jobs to one where I couldn't use the phone. Now I am back and want to use the phone but have a problem. WM 6 is SLOW. Every time I try to do anything, that darn wheel starts spinning and takes a minute or so before my actions are followed.

So does anyone have any ideas? Would the unbranded WM6 work better?

The are 2 common causes for a slow device, and both have to do with program memory.

If you have too many processes running, there won't be enough free memory for the OS to run smoothly. Try closing all open programs with the task manager (just hold down the OK button).

The other common culprit is cached files in IE as they use program memory also. Go into IE and go to Menu>Tools>Options>Memory_tab>Delete_Files.
