Phantom alarm
I recently set my alarm while in another time zone for 4:45 AM for a couple of days. I then changed the alarm to 6:00 AM in my home time zone. I am now getting the 4:45 AM alarm every day even though it doesn't exist on my alarm settings. I've done a hard reset and restore, but I guess it restored what ever setting is causing the alarm.
Has anyone had this problem or knows how to resolve it?
Thanks

I have not had the problem. Have you tried clearing all alarms? Have you added any third party programs?

All alarms have been changed and cleared. On my Treo 750 there are only 3 alarms available, and none are set to 4:45 AM any more.
No new 3rd part apps.

Yes, I have had this problem also. Sorry I have no solution for you...I am looking for one myself. This happens on my treo 700wx.

UPDATE:I decided to set all 3 of my alarms to 4:45 AM to see what happened. I then set my time to 4:44 and waited a minute to see what happened. The alarms went off 6 (count them!) times. I then unchecked the alarms, changed them to 6:00 AM leaving them unchecked, and reset my time to network time. This morning the alarms (all 6) went off, and I still can't find the reason. HELP!

temporary solution suggestion go to settings system clock and alarms click on the bell icon and uncheck the boxes play sound and flash light and vibrate and see what happens when you post above

Sounds like your notification queue is hosed. When you set an alarm (or calendar event) Windows Mobile adds the event to a notification queue so the OS knows when to wake up and take action. Turning off the alarm SHOULD remove it from the queue, but for some reason in your case it isn't.
Sorry, I only have a theoretical working knowledge here. Unfortunately, I don't have enough experience working directly with WM notification queues to offer a solution.
