Picture and Video messaging with 750

I'm having lots of problem sending and receiving my picture and video messages with my new 750 thru Cingular. Basically it won't send or receive any messages other then simple text messages. Is anyone else having this problem or might it be a problem with the phone itself?

Have you confirmed you have a MEdia package with Cingular/AT&T that allows sending picture and video messages? I couldn't send these as well until I opted for the plan that permitted it.

Yes I have unlimited Data usage and 1000 text per month...I tried to recieve one again last night and even though the other persons phone will say sent I never get a message at all...I'm not too happy with Cingular to this point...Verizon and the Treo 700w were much more impressive.

AFAIK unlimited data and 1000 messages is not related to a MEdia package. I also had unlimited data and some form of SMS ability, but was not able to send or receive a picture or video until I bought one of the MEdia packages. MEdia is specifically designed to provide you the picture sending ability.

just got a new 750 from cingular and everything works great on it...reception is better and I'm having no problems with my media package. Thanks for the help

I had the same problem. Could send and receive plain text messages but not mms messages. It worked for the first few weeks then stopped. Went to the Cingular store and we worked on the problem for an hour. Eventually having to hard reset my data and MEdia account which took it offline for a day and still didnt work. The only thing I hadnt done was hard reset my phone since I have a lot of apps installed. I crossed my fingers and and took the plunge. It fixed the problem though. Now I can send and receive MMS messages again. Hope that helps.
