Question Problems with Internet Explorer in Treo 750

    :embarassed: Hi, everyone:
I have a Treo 750, but the Internet Explorer in not working at all. Everytime I try to use it with any web page, the following message is displayed: "The page cannot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost. Check the connection and try again later". I have in my Treo 750 "Yahoo! Go" and I am able to access my e-mail and some web pages, for instance, throught this option, so it proves that the problem is not related to the connection with the Internet service, but with the Treo itself. Has anyone had a similar problem? Does anybody know how to fix it?

Could be a proxy issue as that normally ONLY affects IE.

Is your Treo an AT&T branded device? Also, who is your service provider?

Thank you for your prompt response!! My Treo 750 is a AT&T unlocked. I live in Costa Rica, so the service provider is local (actually the only one in the country!!). it´s name is ICE (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad).

AT&T devices have an application for turning the proxy on an off.

Look in your Programs group and open the Proxy Manager. Make sure to uncheck the proxy and then try IE again.

In an unlrelated issue, sometimes when IE does this a simple reset will fix the issue.

    Good luck!
