The gmail hosting. I haven't read anything about that. Is that different than the regular gmail account.

Any explanation of the gmail hosting/ seven combination would be great.

if you currently have your own domain and want your email to be hosted by google, you can go to that url i provided and set up free hosting of email by google. they'll give you all the basics of gmail but with your own domain, ie xxx@mydomain.com

you'll get mail, calendar, gtalk, google docs, etc. it's pretty nice. once you create an account there, you'll need to go to your dns provided and change the mx information so all email to your domain will get routed to google's.

then in seven, just add a gmail account but your username will be xxx@yourdomain.com and seven will treat it like a gmail account.
